We have an opportunity for an Application Engineer to join our Kansas City, KS team. You will join our Industrial and Flow Technologies business and ensure that our pump products are designed to meet our clients needs in an efficient and effective manner. You will analyze, organize, and layout the application of our pumps to conform to customer requirements of a complex nature; this involves servicing multiple regional sales offices & distributors, as well as supporting projects for a variety of clients (e.g. Municipal, Industrial, Commercial, Fire, Agricultural, etc.). #LI-KS

You will:

* Review incoming Purchase Orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

* Work with customers and other internal departments on resolving any issues on incoming orders.

* Review incoming customer comments to technical submittals and provide responses and clarifications.

* Analyze, organize, and describe the application of our products to conform to customer requirements: this involves supplying technical information on product performance, auxiliary equipment needed, installation requirements, pricing, and/or delivery schedules.

* Determine product notification and/or design modification to adapt products to customer s needs (e.g. custom designs): this involves determining possible application of non-company products, coordinating product design with the Engineering department, etc.

Key Qualifications:

* Have earned at least a Bachelor's Degree in a technical field of study (RECENT GRADUATES ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY).

* Demonstrate excellent communication skills in English (written & verbal).

* Capable of multitasking

* Capable of leading projects and working with cross functional teams.
