Our St. Francis hospital is seeking an Environmental Service Technician. We are looking for your experience, knowledge and patient care skills in our Environmental Services Department where you will be responsible for:

What You Will Be Doing:

* Provide a clean and organized environment for patients, staff and visitors.

* Utilize safe practices to ensure the safety of self, people and materials used within the health center.

* Execute proper communication to foster successful work relationships and ensure patient and customer satisfaction.

* Engage in constructive practices to optimize the success of the department.

The St. Francis Campus is fully accredited by the joint Commission. We also have the following notable accreditations and certifications:

* Advanced Primary Stroke Center Certification

* Inpatient Rehab Stroke Certification

* Chest Pain Accreditation, by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care

* Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, by the American College of Radiology

* (CoC) Accreditation

* Prefer high school/GED education.

* Training or experience in commercial cleaning/housekeeping, preferred.

* Work experience in comparable healthcare settings, preferred.

* Strong communication, interpersonal and customer services skills.

* Basic arithmetic skills.

* Ability to speak, read, write understand the English language.

* Capable of routine lifting, pushing, pulling bending, reaching, carrying and walking.

* Ability to work with little supervision.

* Possess a professional work ethic, initiative and excellent value judgement.

* Ability to stand and walk for several hours per shift.

* Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining quality.

* Ability to remain calm in stressful work conditions.
