Under the general direction of the Radiologist and/or Radiology Director/Manager/Team Lead, the technologist will:

*

Safely perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including procedures in surgery and portable exams.
*

Participate in performance improvement and quality control.
*

Work within the guidelines established in the policies and procedures manuals.
*

Comply with all radiation safety procedures.
*

Work in accordance with the JCAHO, state and other regulatory or accreditation agencies.
*

Perform a variety of tasks to comply with the record keeping required by regulatory or accrediting agencies.
*

Provide care for patients in all age groups and degrees of acuity.
*

Consistently complete all required documentation in Meditech and PACS.
*

Have strong interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication
*

Be flexible and self-motivated, a team builder and team player.
*

Be able to interact with patients, physicians and customers in a pleasant, positive and courteous manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

*

High school diploma or equivalent
*

Registry in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
*

Current Kansas License or must obtain within 90 days of hire.
*

Current BLS certification
*

Minimum of one (1) year of work related experience in Diagnostic Radiography preferred
*

New graduates will be considered
