BRANDON REGIONAL HOSPITAL IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR A FLORIDA-LICENSED CT TECHNOLOGIST (CT TECH) ON A PRN/PER DIEM/AS-NEEDED BASIS IN OUR CAT SCAN DEPARTMENT. ROTATING OVERNIGHT OR 24-HOUR CALL IS ASSIGNED AS NEEDED AND THERE MAY BE OPPORTUNITIES TO PICK UP ADDITIONAL SHIFTS AT OUR FSED LOCATIONS (LAKELAND, PLANT CITY, RIVERVIEW, TEMPLE TERRACE, AND WESLEY CHAPEL) IN ADDITION TO THE MAIN HOSPITAL. MUST BE PROFICIENT IN BOTH CT AND X-RAY. ARRT (R) + ARRT (CT) AND BLS REQUIRED.
The CT Technologist provides computerized assisted tomographic services to patients as ordered by physicians and will be competent in all of the following: brain, total spine, facial, sinus, orbits, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, upper/lower extremities, sella, biopsies.

QUALIFICATIONS
* ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications
* Current Florida CRT license required
* Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
* Customer service abilities, including effective listening skills.
* Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
