Carbonite and Webroot, OpenText companies, are seeking a graphic designer with both print and digital design experience. The graphic designer will assist in executing projects for internal clients such as online ads, infographics, landing pages, print items such as tradeshow booths and banners, datasheets, whitepapers, sell sheets, packaging, ads, posters, direct mail, etc., and also assist in maintaining brand integrity throughout all marketing and corporate collateral.

As a graphic artist and digital designer, the candidate MUST possess the following abilities:

- Able to take direction and constructive criticism well
- Well organized and an effective communicator
- Strong understanding of branding and the ability to maintain brand standards throughout all projects
- Be self-motivated to work independently yet can work together with a team, especially during changing times - not knowing if we, as a company, will stay working from home or head back to the office
- Possess a solution-oriented and collaborative nature
- Reliable both in consistent quality of work and attendance
- Create designs that can work across multiple platforms
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

Required Skillsets:
- A college degree in Graphic Design, Interaction/ Digital Design or other Communications Design-related field preferred
- 7+ years experience in a design/ad agency or in-house creative services team including graphic design and production of packaging, print, digital and direct response marketing materials
- Demonstrable experience producing superior creative that meets campaign and project request objectives
- Experience working for software or technology companies.International experience is a plus.
- Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and After Effects
- Advanced photo editing skills in both Photoshop and Illustrator, including use of smart objects, layer masks, clipping paths, etc
- A plus, but not required, HTML and CSS for web applications as well as CMS (WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla)
- Must fully understand designing and delivering graphics for use in both Web and Print media, image compression and optimization, scalable vector graphics, transparency best practices, and optimal usage for various image formats (jpg, gif, png, tiff, svg, etc)
- Passionate team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently, in an environment where competing priorities need to be balanced, and a strong multi-tasking nature will crucial to your success
- Strongverbal and presentation skillsand the ability to pitch creative concepts and campaigns to senior executives
