Position Description:
The role requires knowledge and experience in the full Oracle database architecture with experience in managing multiple environments across the Oracle product versions. Also responsible for working with business analysts, fellow IT resources, consultants and Oracle support on resolution of production issues as they occur in the Oracle ERP system. Shall have strong analytical, excellent trouble shooting, programming and unit testing skills. In addition, must have excellent verbal and written skills, specifically in documenting technical design, approach within a Technical Design Documentation. The Oracle Database Administrator will perform all functions necessary to ensure the availability and development of Oracle functions and the availability applications within Oracle EBS.
Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for Oracle application code development and maintenance (packages, procedures, triggers, reports, forms, interfaces, workflows etc.), implementation, performance tuning, and data cleansing and migration

Generate statistics and prepare and write reports for management and/or team members on the status of the project development initiatives.

Assist in the development and maintenance of technical documentation, user documentation, and process guidelines

PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, SQL Loader, Oracle stored procedures, functions and packages, Scripting, TOAD, and BI Publisher.

Responsible for keeping the On-site lead aware of all working issues, and any shortfalls or requirements from the customer.

Support the installation, management, upgrade, update, security and maintenance of all Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server Systems. Performance will include the upgrade of these systems as dictated by the customer or acceptable business practice for version control.

Collaborate with Oracle Support to provide solutions as functional and technical bugs are encountered.

Perform upgrades to Oracle databases and using devices as necessary to keep the solution current and available.

Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, business stakeholders, and clients using various techniques and collaboration channels.
Required Skills:
-
Demonstrated expertise managing Oracle database on Linux systems, specifically Red Hat
-
Demonstrated expertise maintaining, troubleshooting, operating Oracle Databases
-
Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, incorporate innovations, and stay up to date with industry and business directions.

Excellent understanding of the Oracle database, Installation, configuration, related utilities, and tools (11g and 12c)

Excellent understanding of the Oracle Application Server and Oracle WebLogic, installation, configuration, related utilities, and tools

Knowledge of Oracle backup and recovery scenarios, including disaster recovery

Knowledge of Oracle security management
Required Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship with NACI (National Agency Check with Inquiries)

Bachelor's Degree in IT or Computer Science or equivalent experience

Unexpired CompTIA Security+ ce certification
Desired Qualifications:

Experience with Cloud technologies

Experience with IBM Maximo

Experience working on Air Force programs/projects
