JOB SUMMARY

The chief objective of this position:

To provide direct, age-specific mental health care to the child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients being treated for psychiatric illness based on the interdisciplinary plan of care, under the direction of an RN.

Experience REQUIRED:

Experience PREFERRED

Experience working with children or adults with emotional and mental disorders

Experience providing patient care on an inpatient psychiatric hospital unit

Education/training REQUIRED: (Note: work experience may be considered in lieu of credentials not required by law with HR approval. Work experience must be specific to role)

Bachelor's Degree in a human services field (counseling, psychology, social work, or related field).

Education/training PREFERRED:

At least one year of supplemental related training working with emotional and mental disorders
