The Tooling Technician assists in the completion of the day-to-day activities involving tooling within the company.

  Spot parting line, spot lifters, cores, and slides.

  
  


• 
  

  Hot runner wiring.

  
  


• 
  

  Trim Tool knowledge.

  
  


• 
  

  Advanced blue-print reading, basic CAD concepts.

  
  


• 
  

  Hand working grain repair.

  
  


• 
  

  Cut threads ID/OD.

  
  


• 
  

  Cut internal o-ring groove.

  
  


• 
  

  Knurling, grind cutting tools.

  
  


• 
  

  Cutting nozzle tips and tapers.

  
  


• 
  

  Use of boring head.

  
  


• 
  

  Calculate & set-up and cut bolt pattern.

  
  


• 
  

  Set up & run rotary table.

  
  


• 
  

  Use of trigonometry sine plate.

  
  


• 
  

  Grind compound angles and using a sine plate.

  
  

• 
  

  Good communication skills – both written and oral.

  
  


• 
  

  Mold design/blue print reading.

  
  


• 
  

  Must be capable of using a variety of machine-shop tools.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent math-skills needed.

  Vocational or Technical Degree preferred.

  5-7 years injection molding tool & die repair.

  Forklift Experience. 8. Overhead crane experience.
