Technical Advisor - Cognos

Monitor Cognos Business Intelligence (BI) applications and servers and provide pro-active administration and maintenance services. Design, develop and manage customized business intelligence solutions by utilizing BI toolset, C, C++, Java, Oracle, SQL, JavaScript, VBScript, Apache, etc. Perform analytical reviews of business process, systems and requirements. Develop advanced Business Intelligence applications & workflow process. Work collaboratively with team to identify and provide business intelligence solutions. Architect Business Intelligence solutions to promote reuse and maintainability. Document and publish data warehouse data modeling standards, data warehouse and reporting standards and procedures and data definitions.

Min. requirements incl: Bachelor’s degree (or its’ educational/professional experience equivalent) in MIS, CIS, Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, IT or closely-related field & 1 yr relevant prof exp. including 1 yr exp using Cognos BI toolset, C, C++, Java, Oracle, SQL, JavaScript, VBScript, and Apache; 1 yr of Reporting and Information Delivery exp; and exp. leading a team and interacting with client users.  Mail resume to Takashi Kubota at NEC Corporation of America, 3929 W.
