We are seeking a Registered Nurse to:

Integrate nursing interventions into the multidisciplinary plan of care, incorporating appropriate standards of care and practice and patient outcomes.

Establish goals and strategies for meeting the discharge or continuing care needs of the patient, family, and/or other care provider.

Education:

Preferred - Baccalaureate degree in Nursing

Work Experience:

Minimum - One (1) year of recent medical or surgical nursing experience in an inpatient setting

Preferred - Medical and surgical nursing experience

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in the state of Wisconsin, CPR/BLS certification. Preferred - Medical-Surgical Nursing certification

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

• Knowledge regarding quality improvement and standards of care within practice area


• Experience in teaching patients and families


• Excellent communication skills


• Ability to effectively delegate and supervise the work of other nursing team members

Physical Requirements:

Medium: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Work Schedule:

This is a part-time, 90% FTE position scheduled to work 36 hours per week. The scheduled shifts are going to be a potential mix of 8 and 12-hour day and PM shifts. Weekend and holiday rotation is required. Hours may vary based on the needs of the department.
