Dematic Corp is hiring for a Senior Finance Project Controller at our headquarters in Grand Rapids, MI, New Berlin, WI, or Dallas, TX. This position will be used to further enhance and develop the Controlling function within the Dematic Finance Organization. This position requires 8+ years relevant experience and a minimum of a Bachelor's degree. The position will be responsible for financial oversight of projects with an emphasis on specific Program Accounts. Reporting directly to the Sr. Manager of Project Controlling the position will have the following tasks:

• Support Project Managers with Project Forecast Preparation, Analysis & Reporting


• Support Program Directors with Project Portfolio Analysis & Reporting


• Participate in Project Risk Reviews


• Percentage of Completion Accounting


• Contract Review and Performance Monitoring


• Cash flow analysis


• Risk identification, quantification, and mitigation for the portfolio of projects


• Monthly Management Reporting both internal and external


• Managing Costs to Budgets / Forecast


• Provide a support function to other Controllers, Project Managers, and Engineering


• Support area Vice Presidents and Controller on special ad hoc analysis


• Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Completed 4-year Bachelor of Science degree with a strong concentration in Accounting and Finance.


• Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Access databases is favorable.


• Experience in SAP or equivalent ERP systems is a plus.


• Five year minimum experience with knowledge of Percent of Completion accounting is preferred (but not required).


• Exceptional analytical, critical reasoning, and communication skills.
