Secondary Mortgage Lock Specialist at Texana Bank National Association in southlake, Texas

Job Description:

• Manage the lock desk

• Process rate lock, lock extensions, and lock change requests

• Ensure accurate and completeness of pricing data in the Pricing Engine and LOS

• Assess and execute pricing exceptions based on established protocols

• Provide pricing support and guidance to loan officers via phone calls and emails

• Perform tests after pricing engine updates and confirm changes

• Process best effort locks with investors

• Enforce Lock Desk Policies and Procedures

• Monitor all pricing systems and models for accuracy and consistency

• Monitor pipelines and advise management on hedging and locked positions daily

• Daily, weekly, monthly reporting

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum 2 years' experience in mortgage pricing and rate sheets.

• Strong mathematical/analytical skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.

• Superior customer service skills.

• Knowledge of Encompass preferred.

• Should be willing to work some overtime.
