Our global Communications & External Affairs department is responsible for managing Hilton's corporate reputation, brand communications, Team Member and internal communications and fostering positive relations with federal, state, and local governments, associations and influencers.

What will I be doing?

As Hilton emerges from the crisis brought on by COVID-19 and a significant slowing of global travel, workplace culture remains a critical component to business recovery. We seek to reenergize and reengage our Team Members through thoughtful, creative and strategic communications and are seeking a skilled, well-rounded communicator to guide our Workplace Culture Communications. This vast portfolio encompasses the work we do with Human Resources, included executive communications for our CHRO and support across all critical subject areas (i.e. D&I, Leadership, Learning & Development, Benefits, Recruitment), Technology specific to our Digital Workplace, Safety & Security/Legal, and Corporate Responsibility. Qualified candidates can be expected to work directly with senior leaders across all aforementioned departments. Responsibilities include strategic communications planning, content development, and campaign management and execution.

More specifically, you will:


  • Lead and manage the Human Resources/Global Communications (HRGC) cross-functional working group
  • Manage all executive communications for the CHRO Craft and implement enterprise-wide campaigns to support key initiatives across critical business areas in HR, Technology, Corporate Responsibility, Workplace Services and Legal
  • Serve on the Culture Campaign taskforce
  • Contribute to the weekly editorial planning and content creation that occurs across internal communications channels, in partnership with all Team Member Communications colleagues
  • Handle agency responsibilities specific to workplace culture initiatives
  • Lead, manage, and develop Team Members to both cultivate and encourage individual professional growth as well as establish a workforce culture center of excellence.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Six (6) years of experience within internal or external communications, public relations, journalism fields
  • Experience within a large global organization and/or a mid- to large-size communications agency
  • Experience building or supporting employee engagement initiatives
  • Experience managing agency partners, internal teams, and cross-functional working groups
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree and/or MA/MS Master's Degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
  • Seven (7) years of experience in internal or external communications, public relations, journalism or related fields
  • Two (2) years of experience within the hospitality industry
