The Resource Management Analyst supports the tactical functions associated with the collection of and maintenance of both resource and project data used to support resource management. This
individual works with Professional Services management, project managers, and operations to execute resource management processes.
Principle Responsibilities & Duties
Prepare the resource reports/data for weekly update & distribution
Communicate with project managers, PS managers regarding updates to information
Update data in supporting applications with requests and resource data changes
Facilitate the fulfillment of staffing requests and prioritizing resource requests, work with team members to ensure the right staff assignments are made in right timeframes
Attend Resource Staffing & status meetings -- prepare and distribute materials, and capture all follow up actions and notes
Assist in the creation of regular and ad hoc reports (as applicable)
Analyze data from standard reporting process to develop specialized reports
Review and recommend modifications to internal processes as needed for project control, operations review and Professional Services support
Facilitate communications with supporting organizations
Analyze data, developing appropriate reports for review in operations and project reviews
Conduct research to identify alternate staffing solutions and/or, alternate processes for improvement
The successful candidate will bring the following experience and attributes:
At least 2-3 years of work experience in resource management or related field
Exceptional communication, influencing and analytical skills
Strong oral presentation, listening and influencing skills
Proven collaboration skills
Familiarity with resource automation systems and software
Highly skilled in use of spreadsheet tools
Familiarity with forecasting processes and tools
Comfortable in dynamic, fast paced environment with ability to multitask when dealing with requests from multiple parties
