Job Description Summary:

The Director, Customer Experience, New Products will ensure our most critical products and programs are designed and delivered with an optimum and aligned customer experience.

They work with product and program owners and enablers in the Credentialing and Professional Learning divisions to develop, optimize, design, and launch new program features and initiatives, ensuring CFA Institute delivers a consistent, customer-centered experience. They are hands-on and are responsible for defining and owning product marketing strategy for key initiatives and products in a cross-functional, high-impact role.

Job Description:

As a Director, Customer Experience, New Products you will have the opportunity to:


  • Support business case development for new products, bringing insight on segmentation and targeting and product positioning


  • Formalize process for gathering marketing requirements and lead completion of Market Requirement Documents for new products


  • Lead marketing plans and launch plans for new products


  • Define and run comprehensive go-to-market strategy and planning including positioning, communication of value proposition and launch strategy


  • Develop KPIs for new products, including measurement frameworks and data feedback strategies


  • Understand digital marketing best practices, including high-level channel strategies and SEO


The skills and experience required for this role are:


  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience


  • Professional experience with Product Management and Customer Experience.


  • Experience in implementing new processes or frameworks within the marketing space.


  • Fluency in English required; knowledge of additional languages would be useful.


  • Demonstrated relationship management skills and a proven track record of leveraging those for overall success of a project or program
