ERP Application Analyst (Finance) at Garmin International in Olathe, Kansas

We are looking for a full-time ERP Application Analyst (Order to Cash/Financials) for our headquarters in the greater Kansas City area.  In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle eBusiness Suite applications as well as other business applications.  

Responsibilities:

• Work on ERP projects that focus on Garmin?s Order to Cash (OTC processes)-? including, but not limited to Order Management, Pricing, Taxing, Invoicing, Receipts, Cash Reconciliation


• Gather and document detailed requirements, design functional solutions, customize and configuration applications, identify and execute advanced test scenarios and support solution deployment ? for Oracle eBusiness Suite Applications, and related 3rd party connected applications. 


• In addition to analyst responsibilities, at times serve as a project manager for small/medium sized projects or tasks, performing project planning, timeline creation & tracking as projects move forward


• Troubleshoot issues, find their root cause, and any necessary corrective actions to resolve them permanently


• Perform research using tools such as myOracleSupport, Implementation guides, white papers as well as others, as appropriate


• Serve as a mentor to less experienced Application Analysts (Application Analyst 1)

Qualified candidates possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or another relevant field AND 2 years relevant experience 

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

  
  

• ERP project lifecycle experience, using one of the following: Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, Peoplesoft or other major ERP Applications. 

  
  

• Experience within the Oracle EBS Financial Suite of Modules (Account Receivable, Accounts Payable, eBTax, General Ledger, Payments, Cost Management, Cash Management, Fixed Assets) along with Order Management and Pricing modules

  
  

• Experience with implementing ?Order to Cash? solutions

  
  

• Self-managing: well organized, with strong multi-tasking and time management skills; maintains attention to detail and work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment 

  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with implementing "Order to Cash" solutions

  
  

• Experience with Credit Card Processing

  
  

• Experience with Taxing Solutions

  
  

• Experience with working on a cross-functional teams, with team members inside and outside of IT, at different levels of Garmin?s organization, including up to Director level

  
  

• Experience using IT tools such as JIRA, ALM

  
  

• Experience in both the Waterfall and Agile project methodologies

  
  

• Superior project management skills

  
  

• Experience testing custom applications and Oracle patches

  
  

• Experience with PL/SQL (Programming Language/Structured Query Language)

  
  

• Can demonstrate strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a large team or departmental setting
