What we do:

The Capital Policy Team Associate's role resides within the Capital Policy Team of the Supervisory Policy and Strategy function. This position supports the Supervision Group in ongoing discussions and deliberations on current and emerging regulatory policy issues.

Your role as Policy Associate:

• Contribute to monitoring and analysis of current and emerging regulatory policy issues. Areas for analysis may include:
  
  
  
  • Provide technical support and analysis to supervisory functions and develop linkages with other groups (Markets, Statistics, Legal) within the Bank on current regulatory policy issues and new regulatory developments;
    
    
  
  
  • Assess regulatory reform proposals and associated supervisory implications; and
    
    
  
  
  • Communicate key updates on regulatory policy issues to senior FR stakeholders.
    
    
  
  
  
  


• Participate in any additional relevant work sponsored by Federal Reserve staff or international bodies such as the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision.
  
  


• Prepare briefing memoranda, position papers, and/or examiners' guidance on the above.
  
  


• Deliver oral presentations to examiners, analysts, and senior management as appropriate.
