Job Description
Provide controls, instrumentation and remote monitoring/IoT engineering expertise to internal (ISS branches) and external (Municipal Aftermarket) customers. Work with customers to develop controls and remote monitoring strategies for water treatment projects. Execute controls, remote monitoring and instrumentation portion of projects through component selection, detailed sequence of operations development, control panel schematics/drawings, PLC programming, IoT gateway configuration, testing and support of field installation and startup.
Drive Evoqua's digital and IoT initiatives by providing high-level technical expertise to the branches and external customers. Work includes developing remote monitoring strategies for specific projects, selecting appropriate equipment, configuring cellular gateways, configuration, and setup of Evoqua's IoT portal, development of custom dashboards and Tier 3 technical support for the IoT portal. Active participation on Evoqua's IoT product team will also be required.
Participate in product development projects creating IoT devices and solutions. Work primarily includes working with business segments to define and refine detailed requirements, development of test plans, test plan execution, creation of technical documentation, support of field trials, and pre-production support of the responsible business segment.
Position requires some travel (10% - 15%)
