Administrative Assistant Senior Representative-Medicare (Central) at Cigna in Memphis, Tennessee

Job Description:

Summary:

The Executive Assistant will contribute to the efficiency of our business by performing diversified and confidential administrative duties to support our company's senior-level managers utilizing broad and comprehensive experience, skill and knowledge of organization policies and practices. Responsibilities of the role also include managing calendars, scheduling conference calls and preparing expense reports. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, have great time management skills and be able to act without guidance.

Location: This position can be remote, work at home. To best support the team, we are looking for a candidate located in the Central Time Zone

Responsibilities include:

Maintain calendars in a timely and logical manner. Proactively manage coordination of work to avoid conflicts, way include conference room reservations and meeting management.

Coordinate business travel in accordance with travel preferences and corporate travel/expense guidelines using Cigna's booking tool.

Accurate submission of expense reports for all travel & expenses in a timely manner.

Coordinate and schedule conference calls, on and off-site meetings, including space selection, meal & activity management, preparing materials, creating/sending attendee communications, etc.

Other general office management responsibilities: supply ordering and expense tracking, maintenance of org charts and distribution lists, conference room/hotel space requests/scheduling, etc.

Process departmental invoices in a timely manner.

Backup support the distribution team's other administrative assistants

Assisting with research and problem resolution.

Participate in other duties and special projects as assigned.

Ensure professionalism and confidentiality is maintained in all interactions - written and verbal.

Willingly provides support to teammates during peak times; participates in Team Mtgs

Demonstrates sound judgement in making reasonable decisions in the absence of direction

Requirements include:

High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience providing administrative support to senior and executive level leaders

Must be proficient in Microsoft applications - Outlook, PowerPoint, and OneNote (as well as Adobe products); demonstrates proficiency when adapting to new technology
