Job Summary:

The Associate Product Manager participates in a variety of sales, marketing, and product management activities, ensuring departmental tasks are performed on time and on budget. This role manages projects – plans and coordinates the development of new products and enhancements of existing products based on short-term and long-term goals.

Responsibilities (Specific tasks, duties, essential functions of the job)


  • Supervises and controls an orderly and prompt workflow of marketing and sales related projects requiring DCR routing and approval while providing a focal point for all approval steps.


  • Leads the development of plans and implementation schedules for special marketing projects and tasks; monitors completion of action items and performance to plan.


  • Manages the meeting and convention schedule for the company.Develops budgets and negotiates all relevant contracts.Implement routine communications program to ensure that sales and marketing messages/strategies are conveyed at each meeting.Coordinate the collection and dissemination of sales leads generated during conventions and tradeshows.


  • Maintain a basic graphic design foundation and use existing corporate templates to create brochures, ads, flyers, presentations and HTML emails.Manage and fulfill internal and external production related requests (scanning, sending out logos to vendors, preflighting files.)


  • Maintains and logs all customer feedback, presents regularly to the executive team.


  • Designs and prepares email communications to various customer segments.


  • Maintains demo unit and accessory inventory.


  • Manages inventory of corporate marketing materials to include product literature, consumer promotional tools and corporate paper goods such as letterhead and business cards.


  • Manage product changes and communication including:


  • Manages price changes and updates as needed.Makes recommendations regarding price changes and strategy to maximize margin.


  • Leads commercialization of new product accessories including:

  • Analytical Problem-Solving skills required to identify root causes of basic technical and non-technical problems associated with advanced respiratory care products.


  • Collaboration & Teamwork to establish good working relationships between engineering, marketing, sales, and manufacturing.


  • Must have flexibility and the ability to adapt to the changing internal and external variables.


  • Must be adept at organization, planning & execution to manage product development and launch process.


  • Presentation skills required to build internal support for projects as well as sell customers/sales reps, etc on product and programs.


  • Decision making & problem-solving skills required to provide clear direction for priorities and responsibilities.


  • Management Administration Skills Knowledge and experience in the following required:

Qualifications (Experience and Education)


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related technical discipline, required.


  • 3-5 years’ experience as a junior level Project Manager, required; 1-3 years project management experience, preferred.


  • Intermediate knowledge/proficiency in Microsoft Office, online databases, required.


  • Intermediate knowledge/proficiency in graphic software packages (InDesign, Photoshop and/or Illustrator), preferred.


  • A combination of training, education and experience that is equivalent to the qualifications listed above and that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
