Job Description:

Summary
The Network Engineer IV installs, maintains, and evaluates network systems and communications. Troubleshoots the complex network issues involving various factors. Conducts network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies. Must have extensive knowledge of Internet, computer, routers, switches, firewall, etc. Provides a high degree of technical expertise in telecommunications functions such as network design, engineering, implementation, integration, and end user support.

Essential Functions
› Installs, maintains, and evaluates network systems and communications
› Provide solutions and support for all telecommunications equipment and applications including VOIP, PBX, voice mail, paging, modems, and wireless technology
› Design and management of core Data Center, WANs and LANs
› Manage application transport and network infrastructure protocols (SSL/TLS, DNS, DHCP, WINS, NTP, FTP, HTTP, SMTP, CIFS, LDAP, and Microsoft AD), and with an understanding of how to support these applications/protocols when accessing through VPN and firewall appliances
› Oversee network management, security, planning, traffic engineering and implementation
› Implement VPN technologies (IPSEC, SSL VPN, WebVPN, Barracuda, DMVPN, etc.)
› Manage VOIP telephony systems in a call center environment
› Design and configures call center flows
› Assist in managing Managed Service Providers/Carriers and provide oversight for service level agreement adherence
› Maintain a highly available and scalable network environment
› Perform project management, design, analysis, and implementation of network solutions as needed
› Develops mitigation plans for technical issues
› Prepares periodic maintenance plans and comply with change management procedures
› Maintain detailed knowledge of company business and network standards
› Provides on-call support, as needed

Required Qualifications
› Bachelor's degree of computer science, or engineering, or its equivalent with 7+ years' experience
› Extensive knowledge of Internet, computer, routers, switches, firewall, etc.
› Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, NetFlow, Barracuda Firewalls, AlienVault and providing metrics in this area
› CCNA certification
› Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
› Possess the accountability and personal responsibility to own and drive results
› Ability to work independently and part of a team environment
› Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

› CCNP certifications
› Possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
› Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and logical problem-solving skills
