Job Description:

We are currently seeking an outgoing and talented Design Tech to join our team here in Anaheim, CA. This new team member will work directly with our per-construction A & E Division, allowing opportunity to gain valuable hands on experience while playing a key part in Gray's success.


Experience with Food & Beverage Construction highly preferred. 


Consults with customer to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structure or renovation, and prepares information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, and equipment.


Assists with layout of project and integrates engineering elements into unified design for customer review and approval. Is active in developing Revit and AutoCad standards.


Prepares scale drawings and contract documents for customers, construction personnel, sub-consultants, and design-build subcontractors.


May assist design managers in administration, review and coordination of project submittals. May periodically assist design managers in conducting on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans.


Prepares project designs and plans using computer assisted design software and equipment. Other duties may be assigned.

Generally, normal office environment where noise level is moderate and temperature/humidity is controlled. Overtime may be required.


 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; degree from a technical college; a minimum of five (5) years related experience; and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
