Job Description:

Experian is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Global HR team. In this role, you'll be part of an innovation group within our People Technology & Analytics Team (PTA), focusing on the design, development and support for various products. We are open to you working remotely if you wish, even after the pandemic (or you are welcome to work in one of our offices once it's safe to do so). What you'll be doing

In this role, you will be working in a small development team with a global reach that focuses on producing a mix of new, innovative solutions to HR technology problems and enhancements to our current suite of on-prem and SaaS people technology platforms. This is a small development hub focused on innovation with more of a "startup" mentality to developing solutions than you might find in a typical engineering role. You should be creative and passionate when it comes to building solutions, have high regard for delivering to the highest technical standards and focusing on delivering value to our teams. You'll need to be able to work on your own as well as within a broader team, whether it is developing new tools or supporting and expanding our current offering. This is a great opportunity to apply your skills (and develop new ones) in area with diverse projects, where you can really help shape what the role can be.

What your background looks like

• We don't have a degree requirement; we are more interested in your experience and your attitude.
• Ideally, you'll have about 3 years + experience with Node.js development
• Full stack development, debugging and testing skills, troubleshooting skills, development environments, programming languages and architecture
• Good working knowledge of database technologies such as MongoDB
• Experience in building Rest APIs
• It would be great if you have some front-end experience, and familiarity with frameworks such as React or Vue.js
• Knowledge of development and deployment tools; Git, BitBucket, Jenkins, Docker/Kubernetes (OpenShift)
• Excellent knowledge of Agile development methodologies and development processes
