The Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the department schedule, maintaining and updating department processes, inventory management and overseeing the day to day production on the floor. A high degree of detail is required. Must be able to work in a fast paced multi tasked environment and foster teamwork with effective communication and leadership.
AS A PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR, YOU WILL:
Supervise the assembly, testing, and quality of products produced
Oversee Cargo Refurb operations to assure quality & enforce safety policies
Supervise employee performance by providing training, tracking attendance, and monitoring adherence to policies
Be familiar with written procedure development & implementation (SOP)
Aid in coordinating, planning & directing all activities involved in the refurbing of goods, enforcing and utilizing Lean tools & methodologies
Assist with candidate interviews, onboarding, training, and employee development.
Assist with employee performance management forms and overall process
Monitor overall operations and employee performance-make recommendations for improvements to maximize process efficiencies
Be responsible for employee scheduling in an effort to meet production goals ensuring inventory levels are maintained and product is shipped in timely fashion.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Various hours with in Monday – Friday, 7am – 5:30pm with half hour lunch and two 10 minute breaks.
Overtime, including Saturdays, as required to meet business demands

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Associate’s (AA) degree with two years related experience and/or training, or equal combination of education and experience
Ability to lift 30 lbs. Occasional bending, lifting, climbing steps.
Can work with numbers accurately and possess good organizational skills
Computer skills including ERP systems, MS Office, E-mail, and current Windows OS.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Greater than 2 years of experience directly related to supervision
