Title: Acquisition Support Analyst, Journeyman

Job Location: Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio

Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for an Acquisition Support Analyst, Journeyman position supporting the Special Warfare Branch. The Special Warfare Branch executes three ACAT III programs and the BA Management System activity and serves as the acquisition agent for multiple projects in support of modernization efforts for SOF and PR forces. Modernization efforts for these programs and projects require multiple competitive source selections to procure a wide variety of mission equipment. These capability enhancements support multiple BA career fields in support of ACC, AFSOC, and USSOCOM.

Job Responsibilities:

Duties include, but not limited to:

- Shall have the DoD or AF acquisition experience necessary to provide a wide range of acquisition support services. Shall assists with managing data collection, inputs, processing, and tracking for the IPT, branch, and division managers. Shall assist with the consolidation of information into draft reports and briefings as required.

- Shall recommend solutions relating to organizational structures and manpower/ personnel requirements, utilization, and control. Shall assess the organizational structure to recommend short-range and long-range functional manning requirements. Shall perform work measurement studies and workload change impact analyses.

- Shall assist with maintaining a master list of all personnel/ positions in the organization, by function, for position awareness (vacancy/fill actions, Manpower Position Control Number accountability, grade/rank, and position title). Shall assist with creating and maintaining a vacancy/fill database on the SharePoint site for ease of use by the senior functional leadership. Shall assist in drafting documentation to support the reassignment or hiring of personnel into the organization, including but not limited to initial duty assignments and requests for personnel action.

- Shall assist in creating and maintaining program schedules in MS Project, to include a critical path. Shall identify program slips and the effect a slip has on the rest of the schedule. Shall review, edit, and explain the schedules received by various organizations and summarize the various schedules' differences and effects upon each other. Shall assess and analyze schedules and make recommendations to the program manager regarding the schedule's realism and any anomalies/conflicts across various schedules.

- Shall assist in creating and maintaining the division's official calendar in SharePoint to be used for staff meetings and ensure major events are included in the directorate calendars.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Active Secret Clearance

- BA/BS in a field relevant to their functional area, and ten years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the Department of Defense (DoD).

- OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, five of which must be in the DoD.

Additional Information:

- Shall have the knowledge, experience, and demonstrated ability to perform tasks related to the technical/professional discipline they are performing. Shall have the ability to work independently and apply the proper procedures and processes related to their area of expertise. Shall also have the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot various situations to develop successful outcomes within established program/project guidelines. (Program Office and Staff Level Support interface)

- Shall be proficient in using Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Skype/Lync), Adobe Acrobat, and applications for access to the World Wide Web, including Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. May be required to learn to use other commercial or specialized computer applications as specified in the PWS.

- Shall be capable of using Microsoft Access and Project, Defense Acquisition Management Information Retrieval (DAMIR), CCaRS, SMART, and the Air Force and USSOCOM portals to prepare spreadsheets, briefings, figures, graphics, tables, forms, and papers, providing finished products, technical and non-technical, classified and unclassified, in the media and format requested.
