Job Description:

COMPUTER TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT Opportunity with SOC's client located in SANTA ANA, CA.

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A LIVE SCAN INVESTIGATION WHICH REQUIRES GREEN CARD OR US CITIZENSHIP.

MUST BE CURRENTLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US FOR ANY EMPLOYER.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* MUST BE A GREEN CARD HOLDER OR US CITIZEN THAT IS ABLE TO PASS A 7 YEAR CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK.

* MUST BE WILLING TO WORK ON SITE IN SANTA ANA, CA.

* MUST BE OK WITH SHORT TERM CONTRACT THROUGH THE 1/1/2021, WITH A POTENTIAL OF EXTENSION.

* Must have computer deployment experience and migrating Win 7 to Win 10.

* Installation, servicing and upgrading PC equipment, connections, and peripherals and responds to user requests.

* Troubleshoots and repairs computer software, hardware, and network configurations.

* Provides technical and user support for PC components, mainframe networking, and LAN-based systems.

* Applies job skills and company policies and procedures to complete a wide range of moderately difficult tasks.

* Repairs troubleshoots laptops, Desktops, printers , faxes, mobile phones iPads. Surface Pros.

* Software installs and general troubleshooting.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Job will be contingent upon candidate successfully passing a background check which includes a criminal and identity background check, as permitted by law, and drug test.

* Additionally, upon commencement of work County of Orange IT Services contract, the County of Orange requires candidate to submit to a County of Orange-administered Live Scan background check.

* The Live Scan requires you to report to the local County Vendor's office with the completed Request for Live Scan Service Form and be fingerprinted, typically within the first 2 days of employment.

* Your fingerprints are sent to the State of California Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation.

* Upon successful passing of the LiveScan background check, you will be required to undergo additional background checks administered by the Orange County Probation Department, District Attorney, OC Sheriff's Department and OC Public Defender Department.

* All such background investigations will be used to investigate and identify state and federal misdemeanor or felony convictions of such individual and criminal charges pending against such individual, during the immediately preceding seven (7) years, as well as an assessment of family and lifestyle affiliations and history (i.e. gangs, etc.)."

* The results of all such background investigations will be confidentially provided directly to Orange County's Information Security Officer and Assistant CIO.

* TEAM & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

* This role with perform installation, servicing and upgrading PC equipment, connections, and peripherals and responds to user requests

* Team Size: 32 team members

* Will interact with team members and the manager on a daily basis

* MUST HAVES:

* COMPUTER DEPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE AND MIGRATING WIN 7 TO WIN 10.

* DESKTOP SUPPORT/ LAPTOP/ COMPUTER ROLLOUT/ IPHONE EXPERIENCE/ O365 A PLUS.

* MUST BE A GREEN CARD HOLDER OR US CITIZEN THAT IS ABLE TO PASS A 7 YEAR CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK.
