The Sterile Products Supervisor is responsible for directing and coordinating all activities and services related to sterile compounding including the development and implementation of policies,procedures, and initiatives. Responsibilities include oversight of all IV rooms, quality assurance, workflow, and full compliance with policies, USP, and federal and state regulations. Assists in the development of education and training and acts as a resource to staff. Assists the management team in the general operations of the department as needed. BS or Pharm D in Pharmacy and current NJ pharmacy license required; minimum three years of hospital pharmacy experience with at least one year of supervisory experience or leadership role. Minimum of two years of hands on experiece with sterile compounding in a clean room environment and knowledge of federal and state regulations. Experience in supervising sterile compounding policies and procedures in a clean room environment preferred. Effective interpersonal and communication skills required.
