Marketing Manager, Customer Experience at Deltek Inc in Herndon, Virginia

Job Description:

Position Responsibilities
Deltek is looking for a passionate and driven customer marketing manager to lead highly visible customer community programs and activities that positively impact the experience for Deltek customers globally. You ll work directly with teams across multiple areas of the business including Customer Care, Product Strategy and Global Consulting to manage marketing programs that drive loyalty and engagement for our valued customers.

The best candidates for this role will have a solid understanding of modern marketing best practices and the ability to execute customer-focused campaigns that support all phases of the customer journey from acquisition through advocacy.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Manage all aspects of marketing activities for global customer community programs including planning, execution, delivery and reporting

* Build a plan and manage annual calendar of customer town hall style webinars across all Deltek products

* Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and deliver customer-focused webinar and newsletter content

* Support customer-facing teams such as product training and consulting on several awareness and demand generation campaigns annually

* Identify and make recommendations to develop new marketing campaigns and evolve existing campaigns that benefit Deltek customers be comfortable with intentional experimentation

* Customer reference marketing projects including maintaining reference database and partnering with customer-facing teams to grow reference database

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and marketing peers to share timely customer program activities

* Serve as a marketing liaison into the Customer Care organization

Qualifications

* 5+ years of professional marketing experience and experience in software and/or customer marketing a plus

* Experience developing relationships with internal stakeholders

* Experience planning and executing global marketing plans and campaigns with an emphasis on customer-focused activities

* Ability to think strategically while implementing tactically

* Capable of managing projects from conception through completing and multitasking in a fast-paced environment

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Experience building out all forms of content such as webinars, newsletters, email, web, social, etc.

* Proven ability to collaborate effectively and influence cross-functional teams

* Strong project management skills with experience gaining team consensus and driving deliverables

* Experience with marketing and CRM technologies, such as Eloqua, ON24 and Salesforce.com
