Project Tech, FT Days at BSA Health System in Amarillo, Texas

Job Description:

Environmental Services (EVS) is a vital part of BSA in maintaining a sterile environment for patients. Each day EVS conducts an average of 300 routine cleans (this includes patient rooms, office areas, etc.) and 100 checkouts (which are rooms vacated by discharged patients). Each Area Tech is held accountable for each job they perform including response time, duration of the job, and are also required to maintain a 90% or above on inspections conducted by the supervisor.

Job Summary:

Routine maintenance of all floors, hard surfaces and carpet. Upholstery cleaning, window cleaning, and moving furniture and equipment as needed. Available to drive to other buildings to perform necessary functions. Cleaning of the outside of the building and parking lots.

Education/Licenses/Certifications:

* 8th grade or equivalent

* May require valid Texas Driver's License with a good record.

* Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

* Excellent customer service skills

* Excellent organizational and follow-through skills

* Ability to make quick, accurate decisions and function calmly in stressful situations

* Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
