SHIFT

Swing Shift - 2:00pm - 10:30pm Monday-Friday (+10% differential)

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for performing overall maintenance support for the Form Factor buildings located in Livermore, CA. This position will provide both predictive and preventative maintenance support to ensure maximum facility uptime. This will include building maintenance/support, building system maintenance/support and working with employees to ensure a safe, functional working environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide predictive and preventative maintenance support to ensure maximum facility uptime; perform daily, weekly and monthly walk-throughs checking gages and meters, operational correctness of equipment and systems.

- Monitor status of facility equipment and systems and work with contractors to correct any malfunctions or to make needed changes.

- Oversee operation of the wastewater treatment system, debug issues as they arise and work with outside support to repair down events and make improvements as needed to support production volume ramps.

- Respond to maintenance and repairs requests on the building and equipment

- Equipment install and equipment moves, assist contractors such as riggers, electricians, and process plumbing to enable timely operational readiness

- HVAC and plumbing maintenance and minor repairs as needed.

- Read and interpret operation & maintenance manuals, blueprints, schematics, engineering sketches, diagrams, and other drawings to ensure timely, error-free completion of projects and maintenance.

- Perform all work to industry standards complying with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations, chemical handling and following safe work habits.

- Maintains confidentiality of company, client and vendor information.

- Be a member of the emergency response team and assist in training of other ERT members.

- Complete Facilities Work Orders as assigned.

- Able to work in Semiconductor FAB and laboratory environments which includes hazardous equipment, energies, chemicals, magnetic fields, radiation sources, and other hazardous process.

- On occasion may be required to be available to be on call and do shift work.

- Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

- AA or Trade School training in a Facilities or EHS discipline

- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in building maintenance and/or preventative measures for trade specific tasks

- Minimum of five (5) years of previous experience operating hand and/or power tools

- A working knowledge of chemical handling and some experience with waste treatment systems

- Basic trouble shooting knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems.

- Prior clean room experience preferred.

- Basic knowledge with Microsoft Windows and Office

- Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with coworkers in a positive manner

- Good problem solving, analytical, interpersonal, planning and organizational skills
