TALENT ACQUISITION & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Come work as a Talent Acquisition and Development Manager to support our rapidly growing business unit. Horizon is a dynamic IT and Management Consulting firm that cultivates a collaborative environment with opportunities to advance within the Government Contracting sector.THE POSITION
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition and Development Manager to work directly with the business leaders to organize, develop and implement talent acquisition and talent development policies and processes that result in the acquisition and retention of technical talent. This person must be willing to learn the firm's business area and technologies through self-study and formal training.
Your day as a Talent Acquisition & Development Manager may consist of the following:
- Develop sustainable talent acquisition and hiring plans and strategies
- Design, plan and execute a selection processes (conduct interviews and screening calls, administer behavioral interviews etc.) and employer brand activities
- Perform candidate and employee satisfaction evaluations and workshops
- Plan procedures for improving the candidates' experience
- Suggest measures for improving employee retention and team building
- Work and coordinate with members of our in-house recruiting team and outside recruiting agencies
- Establish personal connections and sourcing methods with passive candidates for hard-to-fill roles
- Attend career and college fairs, and similar events
- Manage team onboarding experiences for new hires
- Organize and oversee individual and team training programs (both outsourced and in-house)
- Conduct gap analysis
- Develop an employee retention program and team-building activities
- Build a succession plan
- Discuss career-pathing options with high-potential employees and their team leaders
- Perform benchmark research on compensation and benefits
- Coach employees on their learning and development activities
This person must possess a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of HR and talent related experience within talent development or engagement.THE PERKS
