The Director of IT Services will be responsible for the strategic direction and tactical delivery of white glove managed services to all clients for the organization. This position grows the business by aligning the strategic vision with specific needs including process improvement, employee development and coaching, and directing the service team to exceed customer expectations. Uses principles of servant leadership to enhance performance, develop employees, and increase employee satisfaction and retention. Regularly interacts with the Service Desk Leadership Team to refine processes and assist with challenges that are encountered, is actively involved in company management meetings, leads Service Desk Management Team through regularly scheduled meetings and goal settings, works across departments to refine and improve service delivery, and ensures the success of overall day to day operations in the Managed Services department.

Key Responsibilities:
Manages the strategic direction of the Managed Services department, directing the day-to-day activities for the departmental leadership team
Establishes and maintains the credibility and integrity of the organization internally and with external clients
Collaborates with senior leadership and Executive Team to determine technology needs and priorities necessary to achieve business objectives
Develops methods and procedures to align operations and team activities with best practices
Leads efforts to develop overall Managed Service strategies, objectives, and metrics, focusing on improving efficiency and service delivery
Coordinates and leads the professional development of Managed Services team members to ensure skills are maintained and enhanced
Works with the human resources department, managing and overseeing internal HR policies for the department, including recruitment, hiring, and compensation, professional training and development, disciplinary actions, and retention strategies
Remains current on industry best practices and trends, recommending improvements and solutions accordingly

Requirements
12+ years experience in information technology
8+ years leadership experience
5+ years IT project management experience
Innovative thinker, envisioning how technology can be implemented to solve challenges
Experience with cross-functional collaboration, supporting organizational needs as a whole
Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
Experience in planning and managing client expectations
Practical experience in managing technology infrastructure and server administration
Practical experience in networking and telecommunications
Experience in successful implementations, re-implementations and upgrades of technology.
