Job Description:

A plastics and medical devices company in Buffalo Grove, IL is looking for a Production Supervisor for a 6:00 pm - 6:00 am opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Communication to production team regarding performance expectations, performance needs, and safety standards


• Plan the allocation of resources (equipment, people, materials and systems) in order to achieve performance targets


• Responsible for developing, coaching and leading a manufacturing team of 20-40+ employees, as well as implementing process improvements that optimize output, quality and reduce costs


• Provides operations support of all process functions throughout process of converting raw material to finished good. Works in conjunction with, and reports to Production Manager

• Experience in a production manufacturing environment


• Has 5+ years of experience leading a manufacturing team


• Candidates should have a dedicated history of success in leading, coaching, mentoring and developing employees


• Demonstrated capability to manage and improve manufacturing processes

• Lean Manufacturing
