Essential Functions Newpark Industrial Blending Solutions offers high-quality, custom chemical tollblending and packaging for a diverse range of chemical markets.
The Sr. Business Development Director plans, directs, and coordinates efforts of Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Operational teams to identify, frame and grow in these significant chemical markets. Able to connect sales efforts to operational execution using significant Chemical experience/knowledge. Accountable for strategies, objectives, policies and programs developed for sales activities of Blending Solutions. Oversees and directs the efforts of sales personnel toward the accomplishment of objectives. Strives and constantly improves competitive positions. Overall accountability for generating new business as well as existing customer base across multiple chemical markets. Develops and implements strategic and tactical marketing plans for introduction of business into new geographic area and/or introduction of new business into already established area. Accountable for Sales strategies for high growth markets and ensures all strategies are consistent with overall objectives for the organization. Extensive experience managing others and top-level job reporting to Executive Management.
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering/related fields required or educational equivalent; 15 years industry management experience in sales and operations.

Position Summary This position will be responsible for charting the course of sales and account management within Newpark's U.S. Land Stimulation product line. Will focus on initiating, developing and managing key Stimulation Fluids accounts. The Stimulation Business Development Executive will have sales targets and will drive initiatives to create incremental revenue opportunities with target customers. The role will also make strategic recommendations regarding the most effective way to make Newpark successful in growing in this segment. May facilitate the formation of alliances or joint ventures. Assures strategies are consistent with overall objectives for the organization. Monitors and evaluates programs and expenditures.
