Position Title: Sr Manager, Deployment Support (8E)
Position Summary
The Sr Manager, Deployment Support will lead a team that provides governance and oversight of National Customer Program deployment. This role is responsible for providing monitoring and controls, driving standardization, handling escalations, troubleshooting deployment issues and providing data analytics to create efficiencies and speed of execution in large scale deployments. The PMO team will focus on planning, monitoring, reporting and compliance related to deliverables, schedules, budgets, and cycle times for National Customer Programs. The expectation is that this leader is action-oriented and drives collaboration with leadership from all necessary teams on internal and external escalations, risk management, value creation, controls administration, and customer communication. This role is responsible for dedicated Customer Programs and will lead a team of Program Managers, Business Analytics and Reporting Managers, Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
Essential Job Functions
Coordinate across the entire project delivery process and interface with national-level customer contacts to assess perception, compliance, and performance of Project Delivery for National Programs
Collaborate with Project Delivery and other functional leadership to ensure clarity of and alignment with program requirements
Setup functional accountabilities for delivering projects (e.g. defining owners, translating project deliverables into formal business processes)
Drive accountability for key deliverables and milestones and ensure regular meeting cadences for alignment
Challenge existing processes to ensure efficiency, develop & document process standards while driving results.
Devise evaluation strategies to identify the leading indicators of performance and compliance
Add value to the Project Delivery team by providing succinct reporting to Program Managers and Project Managers on health of their respective projects and recommending any action plans as necessary to drive continuous improvement
Own and direct both the strategy and tactics around the PMO delivering strong value to the business in accordance with managing scope, budget and time across all projects. Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, results and solutions oriented. Capacity to think strategically and innovatively ability to Simplify complex program requirements to drive consistent and scalable project delivery
Develop and cultivate cross-departmental relationships that are leveraged to solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business
Anticipate internal and external program challenges, evaluate risk, and collaborate with other stakeholders to implement mitigation strategies.
Act on project compliance reporting conclusions to clearly and concisely communicate actionable recommendations to leadership in the interest of meeting business KPIs/goals and customer expectations.
Drive internal teams to quickly triage issues and ensure solutions meet customer requirements and contract value to the business.
Provide oversight and direction to managed employees. Coach, mentor and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities of value driven project leaders.
Education/Certifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
Master’s degree preferred
PMP or comparable certifications preferred
Experience/Minimum Requirements
10+ years of experience driving complex operational projects utilizing project management principles
Proven successful experience working with stakeholders in other areas of the business and building long-term relationship with large, multi-divisional customer programs
Experience driving the creation of complex processes and standards/requirements documentation as well as the successful execution with respect to those processes and requirements.
Experience leading teams through change
Other Skills/Abilities
Preferred – Deep understanding and experience with detailed processes, workflows, and tools that underpin how work takes place at CCI
Excellent working knowledge of Change and Risk Management principles, adept at accomplishing positive change while building broad support.
Organizational Relationship
Reports to: National PMO Director - DISH

Working Conditions: Works in a normal office setting with no exposure to adverse environmental conditions. During COVID19 conditions, this role will work remotely to mitigate risk. This position will require travel when conditions allow.
