JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT
The Capital Project Engineer will plan, coordinate and monitor internal projects from initiation through completion. As a multifaceted, organized professional, you will coordinate and direct activities of fixed duration to ensure that the goals or objectives are accomplished within the determined timeframe and budget.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Execute strategies to develop assigned projects in edible oil refinery manufacturing.
Monitor project progress, assess issues and recommend resolutions to meet productivity, quality and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Review status of projects and budgets, coordinate schedules, and prepare status reports.
Coordinate the operational aspects of assigned projects.
Drive and support integration of, and adherence to, corporate and legal requirements in the design and construction of new facilities, processes, equipment, and utilities.
Collaborate with regional domain leads for domain specific expertise support in build projects.
Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
In lieu of degree, four or more years of leading capital projects
Four or more years of related work experience
Travel up to 5% of the time
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors or higher degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineer.
Five or years of experience in operations with challenging environmental health and safety aspects.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of environmental health and safety standards and codes related to build projects and construction safety.
Experience managing third party resources to deliver business results.
