JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

The Capital Project Engineer will plan, coordinate and monitor internal projects from initiation through completion. As a multifaceted, organized professional, you will coordinate and direct activities of fixed duration to ensure that the goals or objectives are accomplished within the determined timeframe and budget.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Execute strategies to develop assigned projects in edible oil refinery manufacturing.

  • Monitor project progress, assess issues and recommend resolutions to meet productivity, quality and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

  • Review status of projects and budgets, coordinate schedules, and prepare status reports.

  • Coordinate the operational aspects of assigned projects.

  • Drive and support integration of, and adherence to, corporate and legal requirements in the design and construction of new facilities, processes, equipment, and utilities.

  • Collaborate with regional domain leads for domain specific expertise support in build projects.

  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Other duties as assigned

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field 


    • In lieu of degree, four or more years of leading capital projects



  • Four or more years of related work experience

  • Travel up to 5% of the time

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelors or higher degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineer.

  • Five or years of experience in operations with challenging environmental health and safety aspects.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of environmental health and safety standards and codes related to build projects and construction safety.

  • Experience managing third party resources to deliver business results.
