Renaissance Milwaukee West, a newly developed premium distinctive hotel is seeking a part-time Restaurant Server. The hotel is managed by Concord Hospitality Enterprises, one of the most respected franchisees in the industry. Role Summary:

• Provide engaging, professional, and prompt service to guests in the dining room and patio (or food service outlet) by making sure that all dining room guests are seated at clean and properly set tables. Ensure all guests receive prompt attention. Cheerfully serve guests, takes food orders, and provide follow up for satisfaction.

 

Role Responsibilities:

• Engage with and understand our guests, including discovering and responding to guest needs through clear and pleasant communication.


• Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage items, correct plate presentation, and temperature controls.


• Make decisions and solve problems in the interest of 100% guest satisfaction.


• Carefully monitor the operation of the B&F outlet and assist the manager in identifying and solving present and potential guest opportunities.


• Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events.


• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.


• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.


• Comply with uniform dress code.


• Assist in a variety of different tasks in support of the restaurant and culinary team, as needed.

 

Desired Work Experience:

• 1+ year experience in a fine dining restaurant preferred.


• POS system knowledge preferred.

 

Starting pay for this position is $7.00 per hour. This is a tip-eligible position.
