POSITION SUMMARY:
MultiCare Connected Care (MCC) brings together more than 2,900 physicians who are committed to improving health care quality, safety, and outcomes for patients across the Pacific Northwest. MCC supports its physician members in managing the health of their practices with contracting, medical management, health information exchange and other value added services. The Operations Consultant, Provider Relations is a highly strategic role within MCC, designed to act as a liaison between providers, the health plan and MCC including investigating and resolving provider operations issues. The OC, Provider Relations will perform training, orientation and coaching for performance improvement within physician practices, ultimately providing value to the physician and office through expertise, consultation, and change management. This position is the relationship manager for the practice, existing to help streamline the physician experience with MCC, while working to identify and address improvement opportunities. Responsible for establishing and cultivating relationships with key area providers and key constituents for the purpose of joining and contributing to the overall performance of MultiCare s Clinically Integrated Network (CIN). The focus of this role is to manage the relationship with 1) prospective and active members of the CIN and 2) key constituents of MultiCare Connected Care (i.e. purchasers, employers, payers, etc.). The ultimate goal is to enable providers and partners to improve the quality, service, and cost experience for the populations served by meeting the total medical cost and quality/care management targets associated with ACO contracts. This highly visible, professional level position has extensive contacts and communications with the external provider and payer community, and will develop a thorough understanding of the needs and dynamics of provider practices with the ultimate goal of increasing provider engagement and alignment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
5 years experience
Experience working with payers and purchasers (value based contracting) preferred
Experience working effectively with senior levels of management; physicians and physician groups

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
BA or BS degree
Current Washington State Driver s License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state
Have regular access to automobile
