As a hospital Occupational Therapist you will assist our patients in dealing with the effects of hospitalization. Patients and families are often under a lot of emotional pressure and financial stress due to illness or injury. Additionally, there are needs that need to be addressed after discharge such as home care or rehab services. You will help our patients and their families navigate the process of illness and injury, from hospitalization to recovery.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:

* Function as a member of the healthcare team

* Provide medically prescribed occupational therapy programs in accordance with national standards and administrative policies of the hospital

* Restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury, surgery or loss of a body part in order to allow the patient to perform to his/her maximum ability

QUALIFICATIONS

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED:

Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school.
*

Current Kansas Occupational Therapy License.
*

BLS from American Heart Association required upon hire.
*

New graduates from accredited schools may apply.
