This position performs manual and clerical shipping, receiving, order fulfill and inventory duties materials with moderate supervision. Verifies products against purchase orders, packing slips, outbound orders; inventory records and shipping documents. Reviews for accuracy and routes to appropriate destination which includes repair floor; inventory storage location; outside vendors; pick; pack and shipping. Logs and tracks shipments using computer tracking system and various Microsoft databases. Utilizes knowledge of warehouse practices and procedures and record keeping requirements maintains quality systems compliance. Investigates root causes for discrepancies and makes recommendation for corrective actions. May represents the team in projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

KNOWLEDGE

- Ability to complete assigned tasks in a reasonable amount of time with a high level of accuracy
- Demonstrated understanding of Supply Chain Management Systems and procedures
- Demonstrated knowledge of inventory control processes
- Warehouse management system knowledge (Nexus, Oracle, Hwy 905, Manhattan systems are preferred)
- Demonstrated proficiency Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Requires the operation of manual or powered pallet jacks, powered lift trucks and/or floor sweepers
- Knowledgeable of loading/unloading trailers
- Knowledgeable of Kanban, kitting, and lean systems
- Demonstrated clerical experience including typing and/or general office administration duties.
- Good human relations and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience with the movement of warehouse material within inbound, outbound, order fulfillment and inventory.
- Knowledgeable of international guidelines for processing commercial invoice shipments

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

- High school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of warehouse experience required
- Ability to gain FedEx Forward Depots forklift certification required
- Ability to perform all functions of a Shipping-Receiving Associates I or CIL Material Handler (internal use only)
All education must be verified and accredited by the Department of Education

- Ability to complete all basic and re-currency regulatory training as required

- May require the operation of banding, wrapping, packaging, or cleaning equipment
- May require the ability to use PC and/or RF-based computer systems to perform tasks

Physical and/or Mental Demands:

- May frequently lift or move materials with an average weight of 75 lbs.
- May be exposed to extreme climates
- May require prolonged standing and walking

Flexible Shift, Based on Business Needs
Overtime may be required, based on business needs

Other duties as assigned by Manager.
Proficiency in Excel and Warehouse Systems experience is required.
Must be team oriented and have positive attitude.
