Overview:
Our patient care associates (PCA) preserve the dignity of our patients while helping to care for their basic needs (bathing, feeding, toileting etc.). These energetic, compassionate coworkers make a positive and uplifting contribution to the lives of their patients, visitors and coworkers. PCAs play a critical role in patient care by recording vitals and daily information. They are a versatile member of the care team, providing not only clinical support but also a comforting presence, to help achieve the patient's highest level of wellness.
Qualifications:
* Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
* While previous patient care experience would be helpful, we are happy to provide a two-week, paid training course to help you succeed here at Mercy
* Patient Care Associates are expected to interact with our patients, visitors, and coworkers in a warm and friendly manner
* CNA or EMT license is preferred but not required
