We are currently seeking a Physical Security Specialist, Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama (US-AL), United States (US).
The contractor shall:
* Provide specialized guidance related to Access Control, Intrusion detection systems, CCTV and defensive lock systems.
* Perform Physical Security inspections at varying stages of construction.
* Interpret blueprint construction drawings. Contractor shall review and understand construction drawings to ensure proposed construction methods are in accordance with SecD and lCD 705 requirements.
* Prepare detailed and precise security survey reports.
* Edit, provide input and ensure correctness into the creation or editing of needed security policies and construction standards.
* Conduct and develop comprehensive risk profiles across all dimensions of a facilities construction project located in the U.S and U.S territories.
* Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum eight (8) years of professional experience with five (5) years of prior physical security experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in U.S. Government, U.S. military or civilian law enforcement agency.
* Three (3) years experience with Intelligence Community Directives, Standards concerning the construction requirements for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) and
* Secure Area construction.
* Three (3) years experience with Physical Security principles, methods, and US Government best practices.
* Active Top Secret Clearance AND SCI capable.
Desired Skills:
* Demonstrated ability to work independently utilizing analytical skills.
* Demonstrated Knowledge of National Policies pertaining to physical and technical security requirements for the storage, processing and safe keeping of National Security Information.
* Demonstrated knowledge of secure area and SCIF requirements, both physical and technical.
* Working knowledge of technical security systems used within the physical security arena access control, intrusion detection and closed circuit television.
* Strong computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
* Working knowledge of interpreting blueprints and US Government Force Protection standards, guidelines and best practices.
* Demonstrated general building construction expertise to include knowledge of electrical wiring, construction methods, HVAC systems, and blueprints in order to implement SCIF and Secure
* Area physical and technical security requirements.
* Working knowledge of the following:
* Construction Surveillance Technical training/experience
* Intelligence Community Best Practices Guide for Architectural Shielding
* CNSSAM 1-13 TEMPEST Red Black Installation Guidance
* NSTISSI/CNSSI 7003 Protected Distribution Systems (PDS)
* TEMPEST training
* Technical Surveillance Countermeasures training or experience
* Interagency Security Committee standards, which establishes a baseline set of physical security measures to be applied to all federal facilities.
