You contribute to our success. Every role has an impact on our patients' lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. We are looking for a dedicated Tech Aide like you to be a part of our team.
As the Tech Aide you will sort films to be placed in for reading, filing, logging in of procedures. You will assist Staff technologist in providing patient services utilizing diagnostic imaging modalities. You will practice sterile technique and transport of patients to other modalities within Imaging Services. You will use proper techniques to screen patients regarding method of payment.
* You will assure that films are placed in to the radiologist's area for reading in a timely and efficient manner.
* You will assist physicians and other staff members in locating patient film jackets and reports.
* You will assure that the examination room is cleaned and stocked with appropriate supplies.
* You will assist technologist to prepare patient for the designated examination.

QUALIFICATIONS Education
* High school graduate or equivalent
* Current BLS
* Senior Radiological Technologists student of an accredited Radiology Tech school and/or recent graduate
Experience
* Radiation protection concepts and techniques
* Knowledge of radiographic physics, knowledge of medical terminology
