JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Medical Staff Manager is responsible for administrative oversight of the Medical Staff department and management of assigned staff. Acts as the liaison between the Medical Staff, Physicians office and Administration. Completes other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

* High school diploma or equivalent. AS degree preferred in Business Administration or a related field

* 1 year supervisor experience is preferred

* Prior Medical Staff Department experience is required

* Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) from the National Association for Medical Staff Services preferred
