Medical Assistant - Midwife Clinic

HCA HOUSTON SOUTHEAST is currently looking for a Medical Assistant - Midwife Clinic

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:

The Medical Assistant will work closely with the physicians and provide supportive nursing care to patients, perform tasks as delegated by the RN, and assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THIS ROLE:

* Bilingual (Spanish and English) required
* Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
* 1+ years experience working as a Medical Assistant in related field required
* Experience drawing medications for / and giving injections required
* Reliable transportation required
* Phlebotomy experience preferred (will train if needed)
* Successful completion of hospital and unit specific orientation
