Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensure allocation of materials for shipping Retail Ready to customers and/or to main plant.
- Ensure allocation of raw materials for inter-company transfers to other plants.
- Notifying other plants of scheduled raw material deliveries to their locations (i.e. ticks)
- Performing accurate cycle counts of inventory and follow-up to ensure that internal standards are met.
- Assist Supervisor with investigations on discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Quality to ensure inspection of received materials as well as ensure that received products are not damaged and make claims if necessary.
- Maintain scanners status as per policy and procedures, including daily sign in/out log, RMA request, and repair log.
- Backup to Re-program Scanners when returned from repair if needed.
- Cycle counting; Warehouse location verification, Cycle count item to location variances, Finished goods and raw materials inventories,
- physical disposal of damaged materials
- Assisting in the timely execution of inter company transfers (ICT).
- Participate in completing physical inventory as required.
- Reporting waste to Supervisor.
- Conduct the counts of received material and ensure that the component number and counts accurately reflect the bill of lading.
- Oversees combining of rows in the warehouse to eliminate partial rows and make room for the day.
- Coordinate the employees to provide a smooth shipping/receiving flow
- Responsible for the processing of UPS shipments on a daily basis
- Receive all shipments into the facility - shipments must be verified and entered into plant computer receiving system the same day when possible or no later than within one working day of receipt.
- Scheduling delivery appointments
- Ensuring quality and quantity of goods received
- Assist in completing detailed receiving report
- Placement of received materials in proper locations either bulk or unpacked as required.
- Communicating with material handlers on all incoming deliveries
- Interact with office and supervision
- Ensure safety and housekeeping practices are followed
- Administer company policies and take corrective action as necessary
- Other duties as deemed necessary

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and possess strong time management and organizational skills. Have excellent writing and oral communications skills in both English and French languages.
