Machine Operator - $19 / hr at FactoryFix in Allentown, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

Amcor in Allentown, PA is looking for a Machine Operator for a 2nd shift opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Run multiple machines at the same time as required


• Setup and operate the machinery, load raw materials and unload finished parts.


• Check parts for dimensions and proper finish against prints


• Performs minor adjustments to machinery involving hand movements and simple hand tools to ensure smooth, continued machine operation


• Inspects product for quality defects. Has authority to stop production due to quality issues.


• Follows all established safety rules and guidelines as outlined in the Employee Handbook and as trained during the various safety-related training programs. Understands and communicates all hazards and safety issues to co-workers and managers/supervisors. Properly uses all personal protective equipment.

• High School or GED Diploma


• Capable of lifting 50 pounds


• Willing and able to work overtime and as required


• Willing to work any shift as necessary

• Quality inspection


• Production Setups

• Vertical Machining Center (3-4 axis)
