About this role

Accela is looking for a Senior Program Manager, Security, Compliance and Engineering Program Management responsible for the delivery and management of software deliverables, Application, Security and Compliance requirements. Implement security procedures; participate and drive various security and compliance functions including development of plans and executing the responsibilities of the Security programs. In addition the role includes driving of Engineering programs, initiatives and report in the Program Management office.

In this role you will

- Accountable for the successful launch and delivery of new, key Accela Product Releases, Engineering Initiatives, alignment for Cloud deployments, Security and Compliance activities.

- Strong knowledge is security fundamentals involving in driving Security posture across Engineering teams

- Good Understanding of SOC Audits, HIPPA, FedRamp, PCI compliance procedures

- Helps create, populate, automate and manage metrics dashboards on an on-going basis, identifying and following through data-driven business and operational improvement opportunities

- You will collaborate with Engineering leaders and management of multiple product units and outside certifications for Security and compliance to clearly identify, explain and communicate their project and release involvement, project goals, expectations and tasks

- Represent the organization to Executive leadership, providing visibility on Product releases aligned with SDLC

- Posses strong leadership skills, PMO ability and positive attitude in leading project releases priorities

- Drive the activities from San Ramon, USA, Dublin, Ireland and India offices with great overlap.

- Provides visibility to team impediments/risks and helps eliminate them with appropriate urgency.

- Participate in setting and executing the vision, mission and goals for the department and engineering teams.

- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budgets and status reports.

- Recommends/takes action to direct the analysis of and solution to problems.

- Help enable scrum teams to deliver with Scrum leadership at Program level & ability to drive at portfolio level.

You should have

- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent / MBA preferred

- Minimum of 10+ years of management experience in Program Management or Product Delivery management

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Security and Compliance Program executions

- Track record of successfully leading large/complex global cross functional projects, strong domestic and international project management experience complex, cross-functional, large implementations

- Experience with Systems Development Lifecycle and Project Management Methodologies, specifically Agile/Scrum, in addition to Waterfall.

- You have excellent written and verbal presentation skills.

- Excel in conflict resolution, negotiation, and people management

- You exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and have the ability to make good, timely decisions.

- You are comfortable with authoring many types of documents, including scope, requirements, agendas, action plans, and project plans.

- You're motivated, organized self-starter with the ability to solve routine or complicated problems effectively.

- You have proven effective leadership and possess ability to drive projects to successful completion.

- PMP, PMO, Scrum Certifications along with Security Certifications are a great Plus
