The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations at his/her location(s). The Warehouse Manager maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. The Warehouse Manager completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results. The Warehouse Manager will report directly to the Regional Manager.
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
Managing daily operation and hands on control of the warehouse and office
Resolve escalated customer service issues, manage claims and their processes
Setting goals, developing action plans and ensuring their execution
Following established policy and procedures for company and our vendors
Meeting company and vendor matrix goals
Process inbound delivery teams and assist with Web Check-In
Control and manage all inventory processes and issues as needed (Cycle counts, reconciliation, pushback hauls, As Is, etc...)
Ensure warehouse duties are being completed (cardboard, styrofoam)
Oversee haul away process management
Work well without direct supervision, professional demeanor, strong communication and customer service skills
Load and unload trucks as needed
Interview and select employees, discipline, evaluate, and motivate the warehouse personnel
Team with General Manager (as needed) for disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employees
Develop and hold your staff accountable
Enforce and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Responsible for loadout / warehouse oversight of QC with getting teams off dock
Provide operational support to assigned locations when needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required, post high school education a plus
Have 3-5 years management experience in related field
Excellent written/ verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability.
Must have strong organizational skills
Must be willing to work flexible schedules.
Computer proficiency in MS Office products
