The Emergency Services Nursing Manager will join an award winning, multi-specialty medical center. This 100+ bed Medical Center is a Level III Trauma Center and is known for its community engagement and high level of patient safety and satisfaction. Reporting to the Director of Emergency Services the Nursing Manager of Emergency Services will be supported by a CEN ER Supervisor, and an Emergency Department Charge Nurse, as well as a highly experienced team of Staff RN’s, physicians and paramedics. The Emergency Services Nurse Manager is responsible for the professional development initiatives for the department and implementing the latest evidence-based best practices. This position is perfect for someone who has experience leading a fast paced emergency department and is ready to hit the ground running in this dynamic role.

This position will oversee a bustling Emergency Department, which has 30+ patient beds and 6 fast track beds and sees 130+ patients a day. The Emergency Services Nursing Manager will work closely with a staff of RN’s who are trauma core course certified and trained in advanced cardiac support and pediatric advanced life support. This Nurse Manager will lead a team of 80 healthcare professionals including supervisors, charge nurses, Certified Emergency Nurses, and other healthcare leaders. 

The Nursing Manager of Emergency Services will take on a busy Service Line, overseeing both clinical and administrative excellence. This person will serve as a mentor to the staff, sponsoring training, skills development and performance improvement in this fast paced and high pressure environment. As an administrator, the Nursing Manager will oversee budget, staffing, and the implementation of quality assurance initiatives. An ideal candidate for this role will be able to develop and nurture positive professional relationships both internally and across operational boundaries.
